Cancelled due to bad weather

After the recent heavy rain the ground at Newnham Paddox is waterlogged and there is no prospect of sufficient improvement by Sunday. This decision was made after we visited the site this morning in the company of the Earl and Countess of Denbigh.

DAFFODIL SUNDAY 8th April 2018

On 8th April 2018 DAFFODIL SUNDAY will again be held at Newnham Paddox (CV23 0RA). This is a really terrific family day out, and is held amid carpets of daffodils, woodlands and lakeside walks, in grounds designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.

See displays of woodturning, beekeeping, owls, falcons and alpacas. Enjoy music from the Dunchurch Band, the Ocho Rios Steel Band, the Villagers’ Choir, ~ and watch the Jill Bartlett Dancers. Look round the vintage tractors and cars, including Mini Clubs. Let the children try the roundabout and donkey rides. Have a go at pottery, and visit the many other stalls and exhibitions. There will be hotdogs, locally made ice cream, teas & refreshments……! All this and much, much more!!

Daffodil Sunday is hosted by the Friends of the Revel C of E Churches and is held on the country estate of the Earl & Countess of Denbigh, which they very generously let us use for the event.
